The French Lick and West Baden Springs Hotels date back to the 1840’s. William Bowles and John Lane had big dreams and grand plans, all revolving around the mineral rich springs. We tell their stories with rendering and artifacts from the “early days” as the hotels grew and competed “in the middle of nowhere”…with just one mile between them.
